Kari H. Sayers wrote the novel this indie feature drama is based on. She and the director, Bruce R. Schwartz, are close friends and colleagues, having taught at Marymount California University in Rancho Palos Verdes, California until they retired. This is Sayers third published mystery novel and Schwartz’s 17th film. Past actors working in Schwartz’s films include Sean Hayes from “Will and Grace” and Mila Kunis when she was 11 years old.
