Tamerlane Death Cycle: 001 USA

Director: Angelus Tamerlane Bailey

BEST EXPERIMENTAL FILM

SHORTS 5c

An experimental art film follows a transfixed man through a strange world of creatures and symbolism as he cycles towards death. Symbolic of fantasy realism and practical production art this film attempts to shed light on our birth into a society obsessed with perfection through imagery. This vision is portrayed through a strong artistic whimsy. If we are to reveal our true selves, instead of wrapping tighter into our own possessions, we are much more prepared when we die. This film hopes to convey that thought.
